Colby

Colby is my 5 year old American Pit Bull Terrier. He's the best dog I have ever had. A friend of mine who is a breeder wanted to find him a good home, so that's how I wound up with him. He's the biggest baby I've ever seen. He hates the rain and runs away from my cat. Colby is a really great dog. He is very loyal, listens well, and he's great with my kids. I can't stand the stupid things I hear people say about Bully breed dogs and it bothers me that people rush to judgement about my pooch because of his breed instead of his behavior. Some people will say he should be euthanized even though he has done nothing wrong. I think most people are uninformed when it comes to certain breeds and maybe if they owned one of these Bully dogs they would feel differently. I however, love my Pit Bull unconditionally and will always defend him when the uninformed rush to judgement. Punish the deed, not the breed.

Joe

Joe is my 5 year old cat. He is a 25 pound, fat, lazy cat. For some reason this cat gets more and more needy the older he gets. He thinks that he constantly needs attention and love. Joe tries his hardest to avoid my kids because they are loud but they still find him and bug him and he deals with it.  He has also developed a habit of gently nipping my hands if I ignore him or refuse to pet him. Because of his age, size, and weight it's quite funny when we catch him playing like an overgrown kitten. Joe is very spoiled and pampered but is still one tough kitty. He's never lost a fight to another cat and us and others have caught him wrestling raccoons. He has only been injured once and it was a minor bite mark. He likes to catch mice and play with them until they are dead, but only if he's in the mood. Like any cat he comes and goes as he pleases and at times I have spent 10-20 minutes just standing at the door waiting for him to make up his mind on whether he was going in or out. He truly is an awesome cat to have though and always makes me smile after a tough day.

Midnight

We have a new addition to our pets. I bought my daughter Hailey a black kitten for her 8th birthday. We named her Midnight. She's hyper and moody most of the time. She doesn't like to be held that muck, because she wants to run around playing all the time. She pretty much rules the house. She annoys Joe non-stop and Colby is scared of her. It's actually kindof funny to see a big, muscular Pit Bull afraid of a little kitten. She growing up fast and we are planning to take her in for shots and to get fixed so she can't have kittens. For right now she's an inside cat, but if she ever gets out, I don't want her getting preggo. I think there are enough cats in this city without a home and I don't want to add to that. Hailey is really happy to have a pet she can call her own.
